Tire Changing

The Mac Pack has a Coats 220 tire changing machine which is located at Metal Finishing Systems in Lionville.  You need to supply your own tires.  If you don't want to bring them with you, you can have them shipped directly to MFS, attention of yourself.

You can drop by any time during working hours to change your tires, but there will not be any assistance unless you have made specific arrangements with someone.  The following people have access to the tire changer on evenings and weekends and may be able to assist you then:

Funding:

The tire changer is communal property of the group.  $40 gets you unlimited use of the tire changer for your tires, or you can pay $5 per tire until you reach $40.  In addition, there is a $2 fee per tire, regardless of whether you are fully paid-in or not, to cover disposal and consumable items.  Excess funds will go towards purchase of additional tools.

Pay the $40 or $5 to Earle or leave it in the book..
Drop the disposal fee into the donations can.

Directions to Metal Finishing Systems

From Exton:

Take route 100 north, exit at Gordon Drive.
Right turn on Gordon Drive at end of ramp.
First right onto Pickering Way.
First left on Welsh Pool Road.
MFS is on the fourth building on the left.

From Downingtown:

Take 113 north
Cross 100 at the gigantic intersection
Right at second light onto Gordon Drive
Immediate left onto Welsh Pool Road
After road bends, MFS is on the right.

From the north:

Take 100 south to 113
Left onto 113 north
Right at second light onto Gordon Drive
Immediate left onto Welsh Pool Road
After road bends, MFS is on the right.

From the west:

Take 401 East, cross 100 and go to 113
Turn right onto 113 south
At the second light (right after you cross over
    the turnpike) go left on Gordon drive
Immediate left onto Welsh Pool Road
After road bends, MFS is on the right.

From the east:

Take 202 south to 401 west
Go through the light at Valley Hill Road
Down a big hill and up again, left at the top
   onto Newcomen Road
Right on Worthington
Just before Rt 100, right on Sharp Lane
At the stop, go left on Pickering
Make the second right onto Welsh Pool Road
MFS is on the left before the road turns.

From the PA Turnpike:

Exit 312 (Formerly 23) to PA Route 100 south
After the first light get in the left lane.
At the second light (Rt. 113) go left onto 113 north.
Right at second light onto Gordon Drive
Immediate left onto Welsh Pool Road
After road bends, MFS is on the right.

If you are going to change tires, use the ramp in the back parking lot (if the door is opened for you) and pull all the way through to the bike room. There is plenty of space in the warehouse to remove the wheels.
